Fine blanking - a very cost effective production method för parts with high tolerances

Fineblanking is a method that makes it possible to manufacture components with greater precision and higher quality than conventional manufacturing methods – and at lower total cost. Components are manufactured in steel, stainless, brass, copper and aluminium.

Additional operations can be carried out at the same time as the fineblanking process, including countersinking, bending and embossing. This allows the number of operations to be reduced, which naturally reduces total production costs. In situations where a sheet metal component is subjected to dynamic stress or where the surface plays a critical role, such as in a gear, fineblanking is essential to meet the high standard of quality demanded by the application.
